Email Based Password Reset
Clients who have forgotten their login password may perform an email based password reset by clicking the Forgot your password? option on the sign in screen.
Chronos will send an email to the client's email address with instructions to perform a password reset.
Manual Password Reset
This function is only available to Administrator users.
Administrators may reset a client's password by assigning a temporary password to the client's account. The client will be prompted to enter a new password immediately after they have signed in using the temporary password.
After setting the temporary password, let the client know the new password verbally or by email to avoid any confusion.
Temporary passwords are time limited to 48 hours. Ensure that the client user performs their password reset within this time span.
