Quantum MX provides a Parts Sales Report to help you analyze your parts sales and margins for individual parts. Items included: work order parts and miscellaneous items, sales order parts and miscellaneous items.
The date filter provided at the top of the report will filter completed work orders by the
completion date, and sales orders by theordered date.
Viewing the Parts Sales Report
- Click the left hand menu Dashboard link.
- Locate the Parts Analytics category.

Click Sales.
Parts Cost Basis for Margin Calculation
The parts cost basis used in the report may come from two locations.
1. If the parts kit item is linked to a purchase order, the purchase cost will be used as the cost basis.
1. If the parts kit item is not linked to a purchase order, the part best cost data will be used as the cost basis.
