Basis Explained

The Basis setting controls the basis for hourly type cost calculations. For costs that are calculated based on the hourly usage of an aircraft or flight instructor, select the appropriate value. To set up a cost that is based on a percentage of the revenue of a usage entry, use the Revenue selection and then enter the percentage in the Cost field.

Cost $ = BASIS x COST, e.g. 1 hobbs hour x $10 or revenue x 0.20

Categories Explained

The categories determine how Greenfolder calculates the Profit and Loss and lease payment reports. For lease calculations, the categories define the handling from the perspective of the lessor's escrow account.

LEASE_CREDIT or Increase Lease Payment defines a cost that will credit the lessor's escrow account when the aircraft is used. For example: The lessee shall pay the lessor $80 for each hobbs hour used on the aircraft.

LEASE_DEBIT or Decrease Lease Payment defines a cost that will debit the lessor's escrow account when the aircraft is used. For example: The lessor shall pay the lessee $20 for each hobbs hour used on the aircraft. (not commonly used)

LEASE_CREDIT_MIN or Min Lease Payment defines a minimum value for the lease terms. For example: The lessee shall pay the lessor a minimum of $1000 each month.

LEASE_CREDIT_MAX or Max Lease Payment defines a maximum value for the lease terms. For example: The lessee shall pay the lessor a maximum of $1000 each month. (not commonly used)

After the leaseback related costs are defined for all of your aircraft, Greenfolder will automatically use those rates in the Profit and Loss and Lease Payment Calculators.
