Bookable resources can be configured with Free/Busy Availability. Free/Busy availablity is used whenever a regular schedule block needs to be placed. Busy blocks will be displayed on the calendar view as a hatched area that is not selectable.
Resource Availability
- Browse to the Bookable resource.
- Click Free/Busy Availability
- Configure a New Free Busy
Free vs. Busy
Free specifies that the resource will be available during the time specified, and busy at all other times.
Busy specifies that the resource will not be available during the time specified, but free at all other times.
Multiple Free/Busy records may be overlapped, but with a penalty in server performance. It is recommended that no more than (2) two free/busy records be configured for a single bookable resource.
