Greenfolder tracks the usage of all bookable resources through a usage record. Usage records are intended to be permanent historical records, therefore they may only be edited by an administrator.

Logging a Usage

The preferred for logging a usage is to use the Log a Usage feature that is attached to a reservation. This method links the reservation and the usage entry to help administrators audit unused reservations.

Logging a Usage From a Reservation

  1. Find and click the reservation in the calendar view to show the reservation drop down menu.

  2. Click Log a Usage.

  3. Complete the usage entry form and click Save.

Logging a Usage (other)

  1. Click the Log a Usage link from the main menu toolbar, or the Things to Do menu.

  2. Select the bookable resource that you wish to log a usage against.

  3. Complete the usage entry form and click Save.

Viewing Usages

Usages may be viewed in three locations: 1) the usage log, 2) your accounting ledger, 3) the client usage summary

  1. Click the profile icon or your name on the Greenfolder home screen.

  1. Click the profile icon or your name on the Greenfolder home screen.

  2. Click the Account link.

  3. Click the arrow next to each line to expand or collapse the usage entry details.

Viewing the Client Usage Summary

  1. Click the profile icon or your name on the Greenfolder home screen. view client profile
  2. Scroll down to the Usage Summary section.
  3. Expand the resource grouping panels to view your summary usage.

  4. You may also view a Usage Trend chart showing your accumulated usage hours.
